6 Characters in Comics Stronger Than Thanos

For most people, the name Thanos is synonymous with Marvel’s biggest villain. However, if you’re a comic book fan, you know that some comic characters outrank Thanos when it comes to their strength and power. Here are six comic characters who can take on the Infinity Gauntlet!

Onslaught

Onslaught is a Marvel supervillain who made his debut in The Amazing Spider-Man #360. He is a dark reflection of Professor Xavier and Magneto’s power and hatred for humanity. Onslaught can absorb and control vast amounts of energy, making him incredibly powerful. He has been able to defeat some of the most powerful heroes in the Marvel Universe, including Thor and the Hulk. He nearly killed the Avengers and the Fantastic Four before getting defeated by the combined might of the heroes.

So why is Onslaught a threat to Thanos? Onslaught can channel all of his powers into a single psionic blast which can overload and shut down even Thanos’ powerful mind. Onslaught is also insanely powerful and has defeated some of the strongest beings in the Marvel Universe. He is a serious threat to Thanos and could potentially defeat him if they ever fought.

Galactus

Galactus is a cosmic being who feeds on the energy of planets. He was once a normal man named Galan, who was born on the planet Taa, a world that was on the brink of destruction. To save his people, Galan volunteered to get transformed into a being of pure energy. He was then sent out into the universe to find the energy to sustain his people. Galactus is an extraterrestrial being who possesses vast cosmic powers. He is one of the most powerful beings in the Marvel Universe and has many storylines. He can absorb and use the energy of living beings, stars, and planets. He can also fire cosmic energy blasts and create Cosmic storms. His powers are seemingly limitless and he is a force that everyone should fear. When he arrived on our planet, he found that the energy was being used by Thanos. Galactus was able to defeat Thanos and take the energy he needed, but he got left with a hunger for more.

Superman

Superman is a superhero dedicated to fighting crime and protecting the innocent. He has a wide range of abilities, including super strength, super speed, invulnerability, and flight. He also has a powerful arsenal of weapons, including his trademark Superman punch and heat vision. Superman has the strength to lift entire planets and the speed to outrun a speeding bullet. He is also invulnerable to most forms of attack. Thanos, on the other hand, is a powerful being who possesses the Infinity Stones. These stones give him the ability to control time, space, and reality. However, Superman has one advantage that Thanos does not: he is vulnerable to magic. This means that if Superman can find a way to get hold of the Infinity Stones, he can defeat Thanos.

Dream

Dream is a powerful being who exists in another dimension known as The Dreaming. He is the personification of dreams and can enter the dreams of others. He has a variety of abilities including shape-shifting, size-changing, and reality-warping. He is also immune to physical harm. Dream has faced Thanos before and was able to defeat him. It is uncertain how he was able to do this, but it is likely due to his vast power and ability to manipulate reality. He may be able to defeat Thanos again if they were to face each other, but it is not known for sure.

Adam Warlock

Adam Warlock was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1967. He is a comic superhero who possesses a variety of abilities including flight, super strength, and energy blasts. Adam Warlock is often considered one of the most powerful beings in the Marvel Universe. He has been a member of both the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy. He can absorb and process cosmic energy, making him one of the few beings who can stand up to Thanos. In the “Origin of Adam Warlock” story, it is revealed that Adam Warlock was created as a perfect human by a group of scientists. He eventually turns against his creators and joins forces with Thanos. Adam Warlock can defeat Thanos by using his cosmic energy to overload Thanos’s Infinity Gauntlet.

Death

Death is the personification of the end of life. She is often depicted as a pale woman wearing a black cloak. She is often accompanied by a dark angel or a Grim Reaper. In the Marvel universe, Death is the lover of Thanos and the two are often seen as equals. However, in the Infinity Gauntlet storyline, Thanos slays Death to gain power. This act causes a great deal of pain and suffering for both Thanos and the universe. In the end, however, Death got resurrected and she can defeat Thanos.

Bruce Taylor

Bruce Taylor: The name is a coincidence, I assure you. Still, it set me up with a firm bond to Batman from a young age, and while I have grown a lot since then I am still fond of the world that the character inhabits. In real life I work in the marketing world, but in my spare time I drift between various games and comic platforms.
